Teenage girl missing from Ivy Log Community FOUND

The Union County Sheriff’s Office search for a missing 14-year-old girl, reportedly missing from the Ivy Log Community, has closure.

Kaitlin Edwards was found today (Nov. 10) by Union County Sheriff’s Detective SSgt. Lamar Dyer, according to Union County Detective Lt. Daren Osborn.

Edwards had been missing from the area since Thursday, Nov. 9. Reportedly she was last seen wearing denim shorts with lace at the bottom of the legs, and a dark-colored, long-sleeve T-shirt with some kind of print design on the front, authorities said.

She was reportedly last seen Nov. 9, 2017 at approximately 11:30 p.m.

“She’s safe,” Lt. Osborn said.
